World Vision UK Microloans

World Vision Microloans is an initiative which allows supporters to help fund microloans, thereby allowing people in need to connect with resourceful individuals around the world. Microloans allows supporters to fund small microfinance loans for entrepreneurs who are unable to get loans from banks. The email element of the campaign aims to keep supporters up to date with what their loan recipient has achieved and what their plans are. The objective is to maintain contact and encourage further engagement with World Vision and continued support. We designed and built an email programme which consists of a mid-term update at 6 months, a final update at the end of the loan period and an early stage engagement email to encourage people in their support. Each update is populated with personalised content directly from the field and an up to date photo of the loan recipient.
